Description

Born in 1963, a new generation of an Italian family that came from Naples, Italy to American in 1906.
Risking their safety, the young couple fled their homeland in Italy to the shores of England, with only their hopes and dreams and three little children in tow. They made the trip across the Atlantic Ocean to the shores of America.

Their journey had taken them seven years. An unchartered future for this Italian family, but with belief in their new-found freedom and hard work, the generations would follow the path of the times.
Fifty-seven years measured the years until Frank Jr. first generation Italian American, embraced his son, Richard, second generation Italian American.

Frank Jr. was eager to teach his son about all things, especially his love of nature and gardening.
Age three, the young lad played in the yard as his father trimmed the shrubs. A cry alerted Frank to notice his son had fallen. Rushing to his side, he reached down saying, “Here son, take my hand.”
Hand in hand, father and son, Richard, walked the path to the house.

Just as so many years before, separated by time and miles, an Italian man in Naples, Italy had said to his son when he fell at play, “Here son, take my hand.”

At the core of every story is the truth, so it is with this Italian/American family.

The Italian immigrant’s journey began late 1800’s. Life in American continued for generations into the 21st century.
